December 23, 2003

Samantha elected to stay in Vallarta for Christmas. Our home is already decorated with tiny lights and gold. Our Christmas Eve, in parts, will cultivate Polish tradition. We will share wishes with holy wafer that made a successful travel from my mothers hands, through Boulder and in Samanthas luggage to Vallarta. The table will be dressed with white table cloth, set with an extra setting for an unexpected traveler, decorated with my paternal grandmothers wedding day candle holders and my maternal grandmothers drop spindle, and Samantha's installation. I will be wearing, as I always do on Christmas Eve, my grandmothers silk dress she made over 60 years ago. Lots of candles will scent the room, and monks choir musica will pleasure our tribal ear.
Live is beautiful.
Have a wonderful season of snow, lights, and lifted humor.
I will take photos and share them with you during post holiday deflation period, so should you. That would be a sweet way to share holidays with you.
