seasons

Seasons in Marana Beach gently fall from one to another dropping to low temperatures of 60F-70F in December till February and peaking to maximums of 90F in August till October. The latter, we consider a Tropical Season. Although, we follow the conventional tourism season rating including lower pricing, it does not reflect on how magnificent the Tropical Season can be in Marana. This is the time of the warm clear ocean, short nights, spectacular evening lightning storms and night rainfalls. Days are long and sunny and reveal the fast greening and blooming jungle.
In 3 months Tropical Season, to assure that you fully enjoy your stay, we supply a mosquito net with a 12 v fan and a surprisingly effective natural oil insect repellent that we prepare ourselves from citronella, eucalyptus and catnip essential oils. Repelling insects is needed primarily at dusk and dawn leaving the day time to indulge in water activities like in no other time of the year. Every season in Maraña surprises with a spectrum of jungle’s and the sea’s treats and grants numerous possibable explorations. The wordrobe requers little, and traveling accessories can be minimal. Flip flops, swim wear, sunglasses, sun hat, sun screen, tank tops, t-shirts shorts and a natural rayon sarong are the wardrobe essentials. During the winter, a wind breaking jacket and a light fleece proved to be used a lot on boat rides and at night. Although, it is possible to explore jungle trails bare footed, a light hiking boot is a definite preference. A pocket knife and a flash light are the useful body adornments. A water proof bag makes the most sensible carry-on to protect handy belongings. An insect repellent and bite ointment are seldom used, but provide a sense of comfort against a probable itch. Snorkeling gear, binoculars, photo camera, fishing poles and books provide restful entertainment.
